Like Our Own Home Care provides Companion Care Services To Adults and the Elderly Keeping Them Happy and Safe at Home.

When you're faced with leaving your loved-one at home alone or having them move into your home, we recommend our Companion Care Services. Companion Care offers a number of benefits to adults or seniors who need a helping hand but want to remain independent at home.

We do the work for you!

• Assisting with personal hygiene like: bathing, personal care, hair care, oral care, grooming and maintaining a pleasant appearance.

• We make an effort to help your loved-one avoid unnecessary accidents by assisting them to the bathroom and with bathroom use, if needed.

• Performing basic cleaning tasks like: dusting, straightening and organizing, doing laundry, changing the bed linens, and MORE!

• Our Companion Caregivers may also do heavier cleaning tasks as requested and at different times of the month to maintain the cleanliness of the home environment

• Companions also help with maintaining nutrition by preparing meals for the day or week, cooking dietary friendly meals, serving prepared meals and feeding those who need assistance.

• Daily tasks such as getting out of bed, sitting, standing, and moving from room to room are other tasks a Companion Caregiver can provide

• Assisting with technology, such as returning phone calls, texting, using the computer or responding to emails.

• Providing transportation to doctor's appointments, running errands, attending social engagements, accompanying them to family activities, religious activities, on trips, and keeping them active.

• Providing pleasant company for the day so that they don't have to be alone, and

• MORE!
